Taylor Swift

This girl is Taylor Swift for any of you who didn't know. She was the one who inspired me to write songs and learn the guitar. Whenever I'm in a crappy mood, I'll play her on my iPod. That always seems to cheer me up. Lately she's been writing "pop" songs. I'm not exactly sure if I like them, but they all have a special meaning that any girl can relate to. At first she was a country star, but after time her albums started getting more.... pop, I guess. Her first album was "Taylor Swift." Then came "Fearless,"(my favorite) then "Speak Now," and finally, her newest album, "Red."

Warped Tour

The Warped Tour is a huge festival that consists of touring music and extreme sports. It is usually held in venues such as large parking lots or fields that have stages. The skateboard shoe manufacturer, Vans, has sponsored this event every year since 1995. The band is usually shown as a punk rock music showcase, but has been having more diverse genres play in it.

Blink 182

This here band, Blink 182, is one of my favorite american rock bands. The band consists of Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus (my favorite), and Travis Barker. They formed in the year of 1992 in Poway ( A suburb in San Diego, California). Their first album, Cheshire Cat (1995), led the band to their first tour with Pennywise and NOFX on the Warped Tour (I'll cover that up soon). In 2005, DeLonge left the group and sent it into "indefinite hiatus." The trio finally reunited in 2009 and came out with their 6th album, Neighborhoods, in 2011. This band has sold over 35 million albums worldwide.
